Event Description
Six New River Valley writers selected for the Valley Voices Juried Reading will share their work Sunday, February 26 from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Blacksburg Public Library. The event is free and open to the public.
Donna Alvis-Banks, Jane Goette, Kavita Mahajan, Jessica Muller, Lisa Ress, and Cheryl Ruggiero were chosen in an open competition for the reading by a panel of published, professional creative writers and poets. Each writer will read a selection of original poetry, fiction or creative non-fiction.
Valley Voices is volunteer effort to provide New River Valley writers with a quality forum for their work and to nurture an audience for local creative writing.
